What is MAPCO?
MAPCO stands for Marriage and Parenting for the Community Organization. It is a registered non-governmental organization dedicated to strengthening families, promoting healthy marriages, and empowering communities.
Where is MAPCO located?
Our head office is located at PSSSF Commercial Complex, Ground Floor, Sam Nujoma Road, near Sinza Ward, Ubungo District, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
What does MAPCO do?
MAPCO offers education and support in marriage and parenting, conducts community outreach, advocates for the rights of vulnerable groups, and runs empowerment programs, especially for women, youth, and children.
Who can join MAPCO?
Any individual aged 18 and above who shares our vision and values can become a member, volunteer, or partner.
How can I become a member or volunteer?
You can fill out the membership or volunteer form on our “Join Us” page. Our team will review and contact you with the next steps.
Does MAPCO offer counseling or training services?
Yes. We offer workshops, relationship and parenting training, and basic psycho social support through trained facilitators.
How does MAPCO support vulnerable groups?
We focus on helping women, children (including street children), adolescents, victims of violence, survivors of trafficking, and other disadvantaged people through education, advocacy, empowerment, and protection services.
Is MAPCO open to partnerships?
Yes! We welcome partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, faith-based organizations, and individuals who align with our mission.
